1) DHA contributes to the maintenance of normal brain function. This claim may be used only for food which contains at least 40 mg DHA per 100 g and per 100 kcal
In order to be able to use the claim, consumers must be informed that the beneficial effect is obtained with a daily intake of 250 mg DHA. Maternal intake of docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) contributes to normal brain development in the foetus and infant. Pregnant and breast-feeding women must be informed that the beneficial effect is obtained with a daily intake of 200 mg DHA in addition to the recommended daily intake for omega-3 fatty acids for adults, that is, 250 mg DHA and EPA. The claim may be used only for foods which provide a daily intake of at least 200 mg DHA.

2) EPA and DHA contribute to normal heart function. In order for the claim to be permissible, consumers must be informed that the beneficial effect is obtained with a daily intake of 250 mg of EPA and DHA.

3) Vitamin D contributes to the normal functioning of the immune system.

4) A claim that a food is rich in omega-3 fatty acids, and any claim having the same meaning for the consumer, may only be made if the product
contains at least 0.6 g of alpha-linolenic acid per 100 g and per 100 kcal, or at least 80 mg of the sum of eicosapentaenoic acid and docosahexaenoic acid per 100 g and per 100 kcal. Source analyzed and certified.

5) The extra virgin oil used for BalanceOil+ comes from the Picual olive, cold pressed and specially selected for its high polyphenol content (over 750 mg/kg). Source analyzed and certified.

6) Polyphenols from olive oil contribute to the protection of blood lipids from oxidative stress. This claim may only be used for olive oil containing at least 5 mg hydroxytyrosol
and its derivatives (e.g. oleuropein complex and tyrosol) per 20 g of olive oil. In order for the claim to be permissible, consumers must be informed that the beneficial effect is obtained with a daily intake of 20 g of olive oil.

7) DHA contributes to the maintenance of normal vision. This claim may be used only for food which contains at least 40 mg DHA per 100 g and per 100 kcal.
For the claim to be permissible, consumers must be informed that the beneficial effect is achieved with a daily intake of 250 mg DHA. The intake of docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) contributes to the development of normal vision in babies up to 12 months. The consumer must be informed that the beneficial effect is achieved with a daily dose of 100 mg DHA. If the claim is used on follow-on formula, the food must contain at least 0.3% of the total fatty acids as DHA.

8) DHA and EPA contribute to the maintenance of normal blood triglyceride levels.
The claim may be used only for foods which provide a daily intake of 2 g EPA and DHA. In order for the claim to be permissible, consumers must be informed that the beneficial effect is obtained with a daily intake of 2 g EPA and DHA. Where the claim is used for food supplements and/or fortified foods, consumers must be informed that the total daily intake from these foods must not exceed 5 g EPA and DHA combined. DHA contributes to the maintenance of normal triglyceride levels
in the blood. The claim may be used only for foods which provide a daily intake of 2 g DHA and which contain DHA in combination with eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA). In order for the claim to be permissible, consumers must be informed that
that the beneficial effect is achieved with a daily intake of 2 g DHA. Where the claim is used for food supplements and/or fortified foods, consumers shall be informed that a total daily intake from these
Foods containing 5 g of EPA and DHA combined must not be exceeded.

9) DHA and EPA contribute to the maintenance of normal blood pressure. The claim may be used only for food which provides a daily intake of 3 g of EPA and DHA. In order for the claim to be valid, consumers must be informed
that the beneficial effect is achieved with a daily intake of 3 g EPA and DHA. Where the claim is used for food supplements and/or fortified foods, consumers shall be informed that a daily intake of 3 g EPA and DHA is sufficient.
Total intake from these foods must not exceed 5 g EPA and DHA combined.

10) Vitamin D contributes to normal calcium levels in the blood.

(11) Vitamin D contributes to the maintenance of normal bones. The claim may be used only for food which is at least a source of vitamin D as referred to in the claim SOURCE OF VITAMIN D as listed in the Annex to Regulation (EC) No 1924/2006.

12) Vitamin D contributes to the maintenance of normal muscle function.

13) Vitamin D contributes to the maintenance of normal teeth.

14) Vitamin D has a function in cell division.

15) Oleic acid (Omega-9) is an unsaturated fatty acid. Replacing saturated fatty acids with unsaturated fatty acids in the diet helps maintain normal blood cholesterol levels

Your individual dosage:

- 0.15 ml per kg of body weight – it’s that easy to adjust the amount to your needs!
- Example:
- For 50 kg body weight: 7.5 ml daily
- For 80 kg body weight: 12 ml daily

Hero tip: Use a measuring spoon or a small measuring cup to accurately measure your daily portion.

Important: Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. BalanceOil+ is your daily companion, but not a substitute for a balanced diet or a healthy lifestyle.

If you are taking blood thinning medication, be sure to talk to your doctor before taking BalanceOil+. Safety first!

Unopened: Store in a cool, dark and dry place – at room temperature or in the refrigerator.

Once opened: Store in the fridge! Use the bottle within 45 days.

Hero tip: Does the oil become cloudy or flaky in the fridge? No need to worry! The olive oil simply reacts like this at temperatures below 4 °C - at room temperature it becomes clear and liquid again.

🇨🇭 Note for our MS-Heroes in Switzerland

- The recommended daily dose is 0.15 ml per kg body weight.
- For body weights of 20 kg or more, the minimum dose is 3.0 ml daily.
- In Switzerland, the recommended maximum amount is 500 mg EPA/DHA per day.

Good to know:
Amounts of up to 3 g of Omega-3 daily are safe. Higher doses are considered medicines and should only be taken after consulting a doctor.
